This piece was commissioned by a collector who built a meditation retreat in Boulder, CO. Many of his gatherings are focused on discovering the Authentic Self.

When he came to me with his idea for this piece I felt immediately inspired and connected. He shared with me his area of spiritual study known as the Enneagram, the nine-pointed symbol over the figures, which embodies an entire system for spiritual evolution combining psycho-analysis and spiritual alchemy.

After reading one of the books he shared with me on the subject and exploring the field this piece materialized in this way. Sacred geometry anchored the entire piece into a single, unified whole that encompasses the complex nature of duality as it exists at every level of our being, and sets in motion the outward spiral of the path of transformation from within.

I hope this piece serves as inspiration and medicine for the soul for anyone working on facing their inner shadows and seeking to live in their light and truth.
