This painting has shown me so many things.
The biggest breakthrough while painting this came in the form of the DNA and the shift from depicting the double helix strands in black and white to pink and blue. This came to me as a shift in my understanding of the laws of duality.

Previous to now I had been on the journey of embracing duality in all of Life through the extremes of polarity; good and bad, light and dark, peace and chaos, etc…
But this shift to pink and blue brought me to a place of seeing the harmony that exists in opposites such as the divine feminine and masculine. Duality can exist in a harmonious and beautifully supportive relationship to each other.

And so, if duality is what creates the motion for the spiral of life and all of creation, this piece and the teachings of this part of the rainbow wisdom is showing me potential next steps in the journey of learning creation and that is moving beyond the binary of polarity to a place of harmony and integration of opposing forces.
